of writing a novel but I remember the day when she asked me to write a novel

following day I thought of it and started writing this just for her.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
HITESH KUMAR , the author of CRUSH OF MY LIFE , is a college undergraduate student. This is his first
novel based on his true life. He belongs to middle class family, has big
dreams, and wants to see himself achieving heights in the upcoming years. He
loves travelling, watching movies, reading novels, spending time with friends
and family. He is fond of bikes and cars and wants to have a collection of
luxurious vehicles.

CHAPTER 1
REUNION
Since it has been a long time to see my friends except on
facebook wall where we usually meet so I created a group of our friends on
facebook to make a plan for reunion. Inspite of, living in same city we hardly
meet with each other due to our busy schedule.
At first, all refused my plan for a reunion as we all
were busy with our college life. Finally I got succeed in convincing them for a
reunion as it was a cup of tea for me to do so.
The day I remember well it was 25th September the day when we met after a long time.
We were five including me Varun, I, Vishal, Ria (MY
CRUSH) and Sanjana. We decided to meet at HOTEL SAFFRON, the renowned hotel of
our city, because its our fixed place for the birthday bash for any of us. So
we decided to meet there at around 11:00 a.m.. The entrance of the hotel was
excellent as usual. The security guard on the entrance of the hotel asked me-,
'Saab kafi samay baad??'
as I went there on regular intervals with my boss for whom I was working
part-time, for some meetings.
Yeahh!! , I said as I remembered him.
This hotel is the right place for visitors who are
searching for a combination of charm, peace, and quite, and a convenient
position to explore my beautiful city. It is a small, comfortable hotel,
situated at the other end of the city. The owner of the hotel is always there
along with with their staff and offer an attentive, personalised service and
are always available to offer any help to guests.
The hotel is arranged on three floors, without a lift. On
the ground floor, apart from the reception, there is a comfortable lounge where
you can sit, drink, eat or just read. There is also a slendid terrace, where
you can relax and immerge yourself from morning onwards in the atmosphere of
people daily life, watching city travelling and little squares with their
chatter. The rooms are arranged on the first,second and third floors.On the top
floor, there is also a solarium available for the guests, from where you can
see and enjoy the wonderful view.
As usual I was there a much before time because its my
habit to be very punctual. Then Varun and Vishal came together after that Ria
and lastly Sanjana. We were dressed as we were going to a party. Though, we
were there for a party. I wore a white blazer ,red shirt and zed black jeans of
wrangler (my 1st branded clothes) which
enhance my personality.
Yeah!! A blazer in such a hot season because I love to
wear blazer because I love to look professional and classy as well.
Varun was wearing black shirt and blue jeans of levis
while Vishal is the only one who wore a t-shirt. But the girls were looking
more stunning because their make up enhances there beauty. Ria was wearing a
blue frock in which she was looking like a real BARBIE doll with her hairs open
with a hairband which look like a crown on her
whereas Sanjana wore a black gaon with silver hairband having a
ponytail.
From there we all went for a movie whose show will began
at 12:30 p.m.. After that, we ate our lunch at HOTEL SAFFRON and as usual we
ordered the same things. While having our lunch we talk about our future palns,
our new friends and all that . When it comes to my turn to tell them about my
new friends and college life I was silent not because my college was a new one.
My batch is the first batch of my college. I have nothing to tell them about my
college. But to tell you about my friends I am the only person in the college
whom is not having even a single friend. I told them that I spend my most of
the time with novels. That's the reason why I bunk my most of classes and sat
inside the library to read my own stuff. After listening to me, all started
laughing but somehow they stopped as soon as Ria said to me not to be too
indulge in books as academic classes is equally important to you. She was the
only one who cares for me most in my friend circle after Varun.
After paying the bill of our lunch, we went to Vishal
house as there was no one in his house because his parents had gone to meet his
brother in chandigarh. There we talk about how we used to enjoy our school days
, how we irritate our teachers, and also how we shocked our teachers by our
results because we don't study even a single word in class. And when I look at
our watch it showed 6:45 p.m. as I have to go to do some work I asked them
shall we go not only they declined but also forced me stay there as it was my
plan to do a reunion. Meanwhile Ria got an idea to play truth and dare, her
favourite game and everyone agreed to play as we were getting bored. It was
Vishal's house so only he knows wher an empty bottle can be so he
has to go to find out an empty bottle. He took about 15 minutes to look for an
empty bottle because he even don't know where he can get that.After finding the
bottle we started playing. We sat in a circle to play, Sanjana rotated the
bottle, after taking some spins the bottle stopped facing towards Vishal. He
choose to do a dare and it was Varun who was having a dirty mind that time and
asked him to an item number on GAJRAARE GAJRAARE
he did it in no time for about 1 minute and we capture
that moment on our mobile phones. Now its Vishal turn to rotate the bottle and
it stopped on me and I opted to reveal a truth. As everyone was thinking about
what should they ask me there was I who was a little nervous about what will
they ask because I knew my friend circle, they are having not only dirty minds
but also the destructive one. Then it was Sanjana who came out with a question.
The question was Am I having a crush on anybody, if yes then on whom? It was my
turn to answer the question, and all I said is no rather than yes because I
don't want to become the center of the party. But only Varun observe that I was lying as it was
clear from my face expressions that I was lying but he didn't speak any word.
Also it may be because we were friends for more than 12 years and he knew me
very well. We continued to play for some more time and at last we capture some beautiful
pictures on our phone as a remark of memory so that we can enjoy this moment further
in life while watching these pictures.
After this we went to have street food in the market and
there we decided that I will drop Ria and Varun will drop Sanjana to their
house as it was dark and decided that our next meeting will be soon. So after
our snacks we went as per plan.
